I read Merv Forney’s blog; he’s a guru with the facts and figures of Northern Virginia real estate and so much of our population hails from or is moving to NOVA, and I never miss it when he posts something new. 

He did a post several weeks ago that I’m just getting around to entitled "Preparing To Sell In The Spring Surge".  I’m reposting it here as I think it mirrors our market in a lot of ways.  His advice?  Be realistic, and follow the Five B’s …

1.  Be realistic
2.  Be flexible
3.  Be logical
4.  Be professional
5.  Be patient

And Don’t B Greedy!  You will B utterly disappointed (hmmm … good advice for REALTORs, as well)
