Just a quick hit …
If you haven’t already heard, Interstate-81 will be closed in the southbound lanes beginning today, as crews try to repair the unstable slope. Lanes will be detoured beginning at Dixie Caverns, exit 132.
Guess all that blasting has terra firma not so firma. <ba-da BOOM>
The construction through there has been bad enough for the last, oh, two years or so, and this is going to be nasty over the Labor Day weekend. I feel for those folks who live in the Shawsville/Elliston areas … the increased traffic through there is going to be brutal.
