Trust Ted …

ThetedRecently the Virginia Association of REALTORS introduced Ted Truitt.  You’ve just got to trust the Ted, baby!

Personally, I’m disappointed that practitioners in my industry need to be reminded we subscribe to a Code of Ethics that governs the way we do business.  When my wife was getting her Masters degree, she wrote a paper on collaboration that had at its’ core the book "All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten".  I thought it was ingenious and simple.  Share.  Hold hands.  Say hello.

The reason folks like Ted Truitt stand out is because they’re the exception, not the rule.  All we have in a business like this is our reputation, and as the saying goes – it’s hardest to come by and the easiest to lose.  If it takes Ted Truitt to remember that, then, well – I guess I’ll Trust The Ted.

Interesting the response it has received from the blogs. I heard a preview of it last year, and recall the launch, but have seen very little of the campaign until now.

Yea, I saw it months ago when it was in the VAR magazine and checked it out then. I think they were running a page spread in the front or back and you couldn’t help but notice it. I don’t recall seeing it in the last few months – perhaps they didn’t continue running it?

I am curious as to how effective this “viral campaign” is – had you heard about this campaign before it hit the re.net via Inman?
